The organising committee together with the presidency of the International Congress “TURITEC 2020” have come the difficult decision to postpone the conference to next year (October 2021).
This decision is due to the uncertain circumstances generated by the spread of COVID-19 and following the general recommendations of health authorities. We can´t predict the situation in October of this year and given the nature of the conference, where the exchange of experiences between companies and researches is one of the main assets, we have decided not to celebrate a virtual conference.
The organisation is working to minimise any inconvenience it might be caused by these circumstances to speakers, researchers and participating companies, who are being contacted to inform them of the postponement.
We extend our sincere thanks to our colleagues, the scientific committee and all collaborators for their hard work and dedication in planning over the past 2 years.
Thank you for your support and we sent our best wishes in this time of challenges and uncertainty for tourism.

Co-presidents of the International Congress of Tourism and Technology TURITEC 2020
The aim of this conference is to foster knowledge exchange in ICT applied to tourism. To this end TURITEC has been since 1999 a framework of understanding and collaboration between university researchers in ICT, business professionals and institutions in Spanish tourism industry. TuriTEC offers a unique forum for attendees from academia, industry, government, and other organizations to actively exchange, share, and challenge state-of-the-art research and industrial case studies on the application of information and communication technologies to travel and tourism.
The conference will consist of several sessions at which scientific and technical input and management experience in tourism and ICT will be presented. TURITEC will have also several keynote speeches of relevant personalities of both domains.
