TURITEC will be held on October 25 and 26 in the city of sunny Málaga. The aim of this conference is to foster knowledge exchange in ICT applied to tourism. To this end TURITEC has been since 1999 a framework of understanding and collaboration between university researchers in ICT, business professionals and institutions in Spanish tourism industry. TURITEC offers an unique forum for attendees from academia, industry, government, and other organizations to actively exchange, share, and challenge state-of-the-art research and industrial case studies on the application of information and communication technologies to travel and tourism.
The conference will consist of several sessions at which scientific and technical input and management experience in tourism and ICT will be presented. TURITEC will have also several keynote speeches of relevant personalities of both domains.
The conference will be held face-to-face, but there will be hybrid sessions to let researchers from all over the world to take part despite the pandemia.
